ColorKey’s Creator Nova Prime is designed for lighting professionals who want more than a conventional moving head can deliver. The flagship fixture combines a razor-sharp 200W beam, 12 NovaCell™ lenses, 72 RGBA SMD LEDs, and two UHX™ halos—four independently controllable light engines inside one moving platform.
That combination lets a single fixture move between tight aerial beams, broad ambient washes, layered pixel effects, and synchronized halo looks without forcing a designer to choose only one visual language.
A 200W Beam Built for Definition
At the center of Creator Nova Prime is a 2° white beam engineered to cut through atmosphere and remain visible in a busy stage environment. A 13-color wheel, 10 gobos, 8- and 16-facet prisms, frost filter, and motorized focus give programmers the tools to shape everything from narrow shafts of light to textured, rotating aerial effects.
The beam can operate on its own or alongside the surrounding wash and pixel engines, making it possible to build layered looks from a single fixture position.
NovaCell™ Adds Wash, Zoom, and Pixel Movement
Surrounding the beam are 12 NovaCell™ lenses. Each lens combines a 40W RGBW COB LED with six 5W RGBA SMD LEDs, creating a flexible system for saturated color, white-light control, and animated pixel effects.
The NovaCell™ array zooms from a wide wash to a tighter aerial effect. Independent COB and SMD control opens the door to color chases, layered movement, and visual transitions that would normally require multiple fixtures.
Dual UHX™ Halos Tie the Look Together
Two RGB UHX™ halo rings add another independent visual layer. They can create their own chases and color effects or coordinate with compatible UHX™ fixtures across a larger lighting rig, helping designers maintain a consistent visual identity from fixture to fixture.
Ready for Touring, Events, and Installations
Creator Nova Prime is built for both temporary productions and permanent systems. Dual folding clamps speed up truss deployment, PowerCon linking simplifies power distribution, and a full-color LCD display keeps navigation straightforward. Control options include DMX512, RDM, automatic programs, and sound-active operation, with 46- and 94-channel modes for different programming needs.
