Technics Celebrates 55 Years of the SL-1200 with a Limited-Edition Color Series
Few turntables have shaped DJ culture like the Technics SL-1200. For its 55th anniversary, Technics is marking the moment with the SL-1200M7G 55th Anniversary Limited Edition Series: a collector-minded version of the modern SL-1200MK7 platform, finished in seven special colors.
The series keeps the familiar SL-1200 feel that DJs know: a direct-drive motor, a pitch layout built for performance, selectable 33/45/78 rpm playback, and the sturdy, no-nonsense build that made the line a booth standard. The anniversary treatment adds a gold-tone tonearm and accents, a numbered serial badge, and a special slipmat with a gold Technics logo.

The 55th Anniversary Series is available in seven finishes:
